Our 2-Day Forest Littles

8:55 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Forest School is for children 3-5 years old.
All Forest Teachers at Pinewood Trails Forest School are licensed Michigan educators, certified in CPR/First Aid/AED by the American Red Cross, hold a valid Forest Teacher certification, and participate in year-round professional development for environmental and outdoor education.
Pinewood Trails Forest School is licensed as a children’s day camp program through Michigan’s Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential. (MiLEAP)
At this time, enrolled children must be potty-trained. Staff will happily assist in teaching children how to be independent with buttons, snaps, and handwashing.
At Pinewood Trails Forest School we use many best-practice curricula and resources, such as:

2 Day Forest School Cost
Fee: $425 per Month
Fees are due the last Thursday of the month before the session begins. September’s fee is due the last Thursday in August.
Forest School Program Schedule
8:55 am: Arrival and free play time
9:40 am: Morning circle (greetings, opening story, discussion of plan for the day, questions)
10:00 am: Exploration time on the trails
10:45 am: Mid-morning snack
11:00 am: Project-based learning time (art/science/literacy/numeracy focus)
12:00 pm: Lunch
12:30 pm: Free play time
1:00 pm: Pick up
